The Cold Frame utilizes a double walled polycarbonate glazing for optimal light transmission and insulation. The hinged and pinned top cover can support itself in 2 open positions, and can be outfittd with an automatic opener for an additional $50 Get a jump on the growing season and be able to harvest late into the season with a Cold Frame. Soil and air temperatures are increased inside the Cold Frame resulting in earlier planting in the Spring and later harcesting in the Fall.
